Experienced course facilitator

Dr Ed Walker is a highly regarded Consultant Dental and Maxillofacial Radiologist based in West Yorkshire, with substantial experience across both the NHS and private sectors. His clinical practice focuses on dental cross-sectional imaging, and he is an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences on radiology topics.

Dr Walker has delivered CBCT training and reporting courses to dentists across the UK, with consistently strong feedback for the quality of his teaching, the clarity of his explanations, and his ability to translate complex radiological concepts into clinical practice that delegates can apply immediately.

His background in both the NHS and private sectors gives him a uniquely practical perspective — he understands the pressures of clinical practice and structures his teaching around what dentists actually need to know, rather than academic theory alone.

His expertise in dental cross-sectional imaging means that every case discussion, every interpretation question, and every report-writing exercise on this course is grounded in real-world clinical experience.

“The course is structured around practical application. Every delegate leaves able to approach a CBCT dataset with confidence — and knowing exactly where the boundaries of their reporting competence lie.”

Common Questions

Got questions?
We’ve got answers.

Do I need to bring a laptop?
Yes — please bring your own laptop. The course runs on Acteon AIS software, which is native to both Windows and Mac, so a mid-spec MacBook works perfectly. iPads and Chromebooks are not supported. If you’re unsure whether your machine meets the spec, call us on 01943 601222 before the course and we’ll confirm.
Is Level 1 really a prerequisite?
Yes. This course builds directly on Level 1 knowledge. Attending without Level 1 training would not be safe or beneficial. If you’re unsure whether your Level 1 qualifies, call us on 01943 601222 and we’ll confirm.
What if I can’t make the Zoom follow-up on 17 Jul?
The Zoom session is part of the course and required for the CPD certificate. If you have a genuine scheduling conflict, contact us and we’ll do our best to find a solution — we don’t want you to miss out on the certification.
Can I get an invoice for the course fee?
Yes. If you prefer to pay by invoice rather than booking online through Ticket Tailor, call us on 01943 601222 or email [email protected] and we’ll arrange this for you.
Where exactly is the venue?
The 360 Visualise education facility is at Octagon House, Bradford Road, Sandbeds, West Yorkshire. Parking is available on site. Full joining instructions including a location map are sent with your booking confirmation.
What happens if the course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event of cancellation by 360 Visualise, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date. We are committed to running this course — Dr Walker is confirmed and booked.
Will there be future course dates if I can’t make June?
We plan to run further dates later in 2026. Complete the free checklist form above and we’ll notify you first when new dates are confirmed. Priority goes to those on our interest list.
Is this course relevant if I use a different CBCT brand?
Yes. The reporting principles, justification criteria and GDC requirements are universal and apply regardless of which CBCT machine you use. The software session uses AIS 3D, which is cross-platform and widely used.

Don’t miss this.
15 places. One date.

This is a rare opportunity to train directly with a Consultant Dental Radiologist in a small group setting. Spaces are capped at 15. Once full, that’s it for June.
