The Carestream
CS 7600 — shared by
the busiest practices.
Smart Plate technology, up to 10 workstations, five plate sizes. The PSP scanner the UK's high-volume practices share between every surgery — with zero image mix-ups.
A chip in every plate. Zero mix-ups, ever.
The Smart Plate carries the patient and operatory data with it. When you scan, the image routes itself to the right file and the right workstation — automatically. No sorting. No guesswork. No retakes from mislabelled images.
Why high-volume practices specify the CS 7600.
Five things that separate the CS 7600 from every other PSP scanner on the market.
Every plate carries a chip that tags it to a patient and an operatory. Images route automatically — no sorting, no labelling, no mistakes.
One scanner serves your whole practice. Put it in a corridor between surgeries and let every clinician scan into their own patient file.
Paediatric through occlusal. The only PSP scanner most UK practices need — sizes 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4, plus a cleaning plate for routine maintenance.
Drop a plate in, walk away, take the next patient. No need to wait at the scanner or babysit each image.
Carestream's standard imaging platform — fast viewing, processing, and integration with most UK practice management systems.
Thin, flexible, cable-free plates feel exactly like film. Teams transitioning from film need no retraining on chairside positioning.
Plates, sheaths, and a cleaning routine that takes seconds.

Is a different imaging system right for you?
The CS 7600 is the standard for multi-surgery PSP. But if your practice is smaller or speed-to-image matters more than shared use, two alternatives are worth a look.

How many surgeries can share one CS 7600?
Up to 10 workstations. In practice, most multi-surgery installations use 3–6 workstations across surgeries plus reception or the dentist's office.
What's the difference between the CS 7600 and the CS 7200 Neo?
Both use Smart Plates. The CS 7200 Neo is a compact, lower-cost chairside system for single-surgery use, supporting plate sizes 0–2. The CS 7600 supports all five sizes (0–4), up to 10 workstations, and Scan & Go workflow.
What plates does it support?
All five Carestream Smart Plate sizes — 0 (paediatric), 1 (anterior), 2 (bitewing), 3 (long bitewing) and 4 (occlusal). Plus a cleaning plate for routine maintenance.
Do you supply the sheaths and cleaning plate?
Yes — all consumables held in UK stock at our Yorkshire warehouse. Sheaths are available above; cleaning plates and replacement plates by enquiry.
