Why our sheaths are the only safe choice for the CS 7600
Our hygienic sheaths are manufactured to Carestream's own specification — with a foam strip that prevents the sheath being drawn into the scanner during plate insertion. Non-manufacturer sheaths lack this strip. In our experience this causes internal damage to the scanning mechanism and will invalidate your warranty. 250 sheaths for just £49 + VAT. Don't risk it.

Common questions
Can one CS 7600 serve multiple surgeries?
Yes — it's designed specifically for shared multi-surgery use. Up to 10 workstations per unit, with multiple units connectable on the same network for larger practices.
How long do the Smart Plates last?
Each plate is rated to 500 scan cycles. The Smart Plate chip tracks this automatically and the system alerts you when replacement is needed — no manual counting.
How do I prevent cross-contamination?
Use hygienic sheaths between each patient (available in all sizes). Mechanical parts can be cleaned and a roller cleaning plate is available for routine maintenance.
What software is required?
Carestream Dental imaging software v1.18.0 or higher. We install and configure this as part of your remote setup — it's included in the price.
What warranty is included?
1-year full replacement warranty as standard, extended to 2 years with online registration via Carestream. Extended programmes are also available.
Can I get in-person installation?
Yes — contact us for a quote based on your location. Our team covers the UK and will come to your practice to install, configure and train your whole team.
