Do I need to buy the notebook?
No. The Imprevo needs a high-spec Windows PC with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card. Our notebook is matched to it, so it works out of the box. If you already have a PC that meets the DEXIS specification, buy the scanner alone and we’ll check your PC before you order.
Is the Imprevo an open system?
Yes. It exports STL, PLY and OBJ files, with direct exocad and DWOS output, so you can send scans to any lab, aligner provider or in-house printer that accepts those files.
What is the difference between the Imprevo and the IS 3800W?
The Imprevo captures at 40 frames per second against 20, has a 25 mm depth of field against 18 mm, and uses a dual sensor with laser illumination. It also adds gesture control and inductive charging. The IS 3800W is lighter at 240 g and costs £8,100 inc. VAT.
What warranty does it come with?
A 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on the scanner. Extended cover is available. Ask us for details.
