What comes in the box?
The touchscreen control console, the electric motor with a 2 m cable, the 20:1 LED contra-angle, the foot pedal, the irrigation pump, a handpiece stand and a starter set of sterile irrigation tubing.
Will it work with my implant system?
The 20:1 contra-angle uses the standard E-type connection and takes surgical drills, taps and drivers with a 2.35 mm shank. That covers the major implant systems, including OXY implants from our sister company, 360 Dental.
How does it compare with W&H, NSK and Bien-Air implant motors?
The MotorSurg gives you what implant surgery needs: 80 N·cm of torque, 40,000 rpm, a lit 20:1 handpiece, a sensitive foot pedal and strong irrigation. It costs £1,899 + VAT. Compare that with the quote you have.
How is it cleaned between patients?
The contra-angle and motor can be autoclaved at 135 °C. The irrigation tube is single-use. Wipe the console and foot pedal with your usual clinical disinfectant. The console is IPX6 rated.
Do you install it and train us?
Yes. We set up and calibrate the motor at your practice and train your clinician and nurse on the console, the eight programmes, irrigation and calibration. Support by phone is included.
