Getting started
Start your 30-day trial
in four steps.
You do not need to call us or place an order to start the free trial. Everything is done directly from within CS 3D Imaging.
- Update to CS Imaging Suite 3.14.0.45 / CS 3D Imaging 3.10.64 or higher
- Open CS 3D Imaging and click “Try Premium”
- Log in with your Carestream Dental account (or create one — free)
- Enjoy 30 days of full Premium access — Premium features are marked with a crown icon in the software
A countdown of remaining trial days is visible in the software banner. One week before expiry you will receive a reminder to contact us to subscribe.
Subscribing after your trial.
We handle the activation.
After your trial, contact us at 360 Visualise to purchase your annual subscription. We will handle activation via the Carestream dealer portal and you will receive a confirmation email as soon as your Premium plan is live.

Common questions
Do I need to pay for CS 3D Imaging Standard?
No — CS 3D Imaging Standard remains completely free and is included with all Carestream 3D equipment. Premium is an optional annual upgrade. You can continue using Standard indefinitely at no cost.
What happens to my existing PDIP or Airway module licences?
If you have previously activated PDIP or Airway module licences and do not subscribe to Premium, you will not lose access to your existing features. Your current capabilities remain unchanged.
Can I try Premium before buying?
Yes — start a 30-day free trial directly from within CS 3D Imaging by clicking “Try Premium”. No payment card required. You will have full access to all Premium features for 30 days.
Does Share My Case work for non-Carestream users?
Yes. The recipient receives an email with a link and downloads a free shared viewer — they do not need their own CS 3D Imaging licence. If they already use CS 3D Imaging they will need to use the viewer separately, as both applications cannot run simultaneously on the same machine.
Is the AI implant planning fully automatic?
The AI generates an initial proposal — panoramic curve, nerve canal mapping, crown design and implant position are all calculated automatically. You review and adjust the proposal based on your clinical judgement. Current capability covers up to three teeth in the mandibular region per session.
My CS8200 already came with CS 3D Imaging — does that cover this?
Your CS8200 includes CS 3D Imaging Standard at no charge, which covers 3D review, manual implant placement and all core viewing tools. Premium is an additional annual subscription that adds AI planning, Share My Case and CS Airway on top of that.
