Description
Step 1: Prepare the Scanner. Ensure the Carestream CS7600 is powered on and ready for use.
Check that the Scan & Go system is enabled in your imaging software.
Step 2: Assign the Imaging Plate Use a pre-registered Scan & Go phosphor plate with the embedded RFID chip.
The plate is automatically assigned to the correct patient in the system.
Step 3: Capture the X-Ray Image. Position the phosphor plate in the patient’s mouth as you would with a traditional intraoral X-ray.
Expose the plate using your X-ray generator.
Step 4: Insert the Plate into the CS7600 Scanner. Place the exposed plate into the scanner’s entry slot.
The Scan & Go system automatically detects the plate and begins processing.
Step 5: Image Processing & Display. The scanner reads the plate and automatically assigns the image to the correct patient file.
The high-resolution image is displayed within seconds in your Carestream imaging software.
Step 6: Reuse the Imaging Plate. The scanner erases the plate after processing, making it ready for reuse.
Store the plate properly to maintain its lifespan.
