The Neo Edition adds Smart Plate technology — a built-in chip in every plate that pre-registers patient and operatory data. This enables automatic image routing to the correct patient file and workstation. The standard CS 7200 used plain plates without this capability.
How is the CS 7200 Neo different from the CS 7600?
Both use Smart Plates. The CS 7200 Neo is a compact, lower-cost chairside system ideal for single-surgery use or small shared setups. The CS 7600 is a higher-capacity multi-surgery system supporting all 5 plate sizes (0–4), up to 10 workstations, and advanced scanning modes. If your practice has 3 or more surgeries sharing one scanner, the CS 7600 is typically the better choice.
Can I upgrade from the CS 7200 Neo to the CS 7600 later?
Yes — and your Smart Plate consumables (plates and sheaths in sizes 0–2) are fully compatible with the CS 7600. Your team's existing workflow habits carry over too. The only change is the scanner unit itself.
What plate sizes does the CS 7200 Neo support?
