Register the Smart Plate to the patient before the exposure. The chip now carries the patient and workstation.

The original CS 7200 used plain plates. The Neo Edition adds Smart Plate technology: a chip in every plate that holds the patient and workstation details you register before the exposure.
When the plate is scanned, the image goes to the correct patient file automatically. It is the same routing technology that runs the larger CS 7600, in a scanner small enough for the chairside.

The Neo Edition adds Smart Plate technology: a chip in every plate that holds the patient and workstation details. That lets the scanner send each image to the correct patient file automatically. The original CS 7200 used plain plates without this.
How much does the Carestream CS 7200 Neo cost in the UK?

Which plate sizes does the CS 7200 Neo take?
Sizes 0, 1 and 2, which cover paediatric, anterior, periapical and bitewing work. For size 3 (long bitewing) and size 4 (occlusal) you need the CS 7600.
How is it different from the CS 7600?
Both use Smart Plates. The CS 7200 Neo is a compact, lower-cost scanner for one surgery or a small shared setup, with plate sizes 0 to 2. The CS 7600 takes all five plate sizes and serves up to 10 workstations. If three or more surgeries will share one scanner, the CS 7600 is usually the better choice.
Can I upgrade to the CS 7600 later?
Yes. Your Smart Plates and sheaths in sizes 0 to 2 carry over, and your team keeps the same workflow. Only the scanner changes.
