CBCT bite block sheaths: your questions
Do these sheaths fit my Carestream CBCT bite block?
Yes. They are a direct fit for the 3D bite blocks on the Carestream CS 8100 3D, CS 8200 3D and CS 9600. They are made to the same dimensions as the Carestream sleeve.
Will the sheath show up on the CBCT scan?
No. The sheath is a thin, radiolucent barrier film. It leaves no shadow, streak or artefact on the reconstruction.
How many sheaths are in a pack?
100 single-use sheaths for £44.90 + VAT. The Carestream OEM pack is 80 sheaths for £129 + VAT.
How much will my practice save?
Each sheath costs 45p instead of £1.61. Scan 10 patients a week and you save about £600 a year.
Are the sheaths CE marked?
Yes. They are CE marked, single-use, non-sterile hygiene barriers. We can send the documents on request.
Can I try a sheath before I order?
