Room planning

Know exactly what
space you need.

Carestream recommends a minimum room size of 1.5m × 1.5m for the CS8200 — but in practice, we regularly install them in tighter spaces. We've successfully fitted CS8200s in rooms as small as 1.2m × 1.2m.

Every room is different. Floor plan, door position, ceiling height, electrical supply — it all affects what's possible. That's why we offer a free room planning service before you commit to anything. We'll assess your space, advise on positioning and compliance, and tell you exactly what's needed. No surprises on installation day.

The 360 Visualise difference

We don't just sell you a machine.
We join your team.

Every practice that buys from 360 Visualise gets something no other supplier offers: a dedicated WhatsApp group with the real people behind your installation — from the day you enquire to long after your first patient scan.

From the moment you enquire, you deal with named people — not a call centre, not a ticket system. Your WhatsApp group stays open long after install day, because that's when the real clinical questions start.

Not a box shifter.
A long-term partner.

We've been running our own scanning centre since before most competitors had heard of CBCT. We know what it takes to use this technology well — and we built our support model around that. When you buy from 360 Visualise, you're not a transaction. You're a practice we want to see succeed.

Dedicated WhatsApp group set up before install day — engineer, trainer, and account manager all in one place

Why buy from 360 Visualise

Anyone can sell you
a CS8200.

Every other supplier in the market can take your order. What they can't give you is what happens after the sale — the relationship, the clinical support, the people who pick up the phone. That's where 360 Visualise is in a different class entirely.

01
🏥

We actually use this equipment every day

Our scanning centre in Ilkley — the first independent CBCT referral centre outside London — scans over 3,000 patients a year. We don't just sell the CS8200. We know exactly what it can do clinically and how to get the most from it.

02
🏆

UK's leading independent CBCT supplier

Last year, 360 Visualise sold more CBCT units in the UK than any other company. That's not a boast — it means our engineers, processes, and support systems are the most battle-tested in the business.

03
🔧

Your own dedicated field engineer

Installation isn't a courier drop. Your 360V engineer does the full job: positioning, IT setup, calibration, and a complete system handover. Then they're on the phone when you need them — not a call centre.

04
👩‍⚕️

RDN-delivered clinical training

Your clinical training is delivered by a Registered Dental Nurse — not a sales rep, not a video link. A full day at your practice, covering patient positioning, protocols, and clinical software. From day one, your team is confident and compliant.

05
📐

Free room planning & compliance advice

Before you commit to anything, we'll visit your practice, assess the room, and give you a detailed plan covering electrical requirements, network prep, and radiation safety. This is a genuinely free service — and it could save you thousands in surprises.

06
💰

Best Price Guaranteed — always

Our prices are keenly set. If you find a genuine like-for-like quote from another authorised UK supplier, show us and we will beat it. No awkward conversations. No conditions. Just a better deal with better support.

07
🤝

Finance arranged, not outsourced

We work with Bramar, Performance Finance, and Aspired Finance to find the right deal for your practice. Most CS8200 systems are available from around £560/month. We walk you through the options — you choose what works.

08
🔒

Lead lining, safety & regulatory sorted

Installing a CBCT involves more than unboxing a machine. We coordinate your lead lining contractor referrals, advise on your RPA relationship, and make sure your critical examination is in place before you ever take a patient scan.

09
📞

Ongoing support that actually answers

After installation, we don't disappear. Our team is available Mon–Fri 9am–5:30pm for technical support, clinical queries, and software questions. You speak to someone who knows your system.

Common questions

Got questions?
We've got answers.

View all FAQs & how-to videos →
What's the difference between Access and Advance?
The main differences are FOV range and advanced features. The Access offers up to 10×10 cm (up to 6 FOVs) and suits general practice and implants. The Advance goes up to 16×10 cm (up to 11 FOVs) and adds scout view, per-patient exam records, and a wider clinical range including surgical planning. Image quality is identical on both.
Can I add ceph later, or does it need to be ordered with the machine?
The Scan Ceph module can be added at any time — it doesn't need to be ordered with the unit. It attaches to either model and adds full 26×24 cm cephalometric imaging with automatic tracing. Ask us about adding it to your quote.
What software does the CS8200 run on?
The CS8200 runs on CS Imaging Client Server 8.0.25 / CS Imaging Suite 3.12 or higher, on Windows 11 (64-bit). It's an open platform — compatible with most third-party practice management and intraoral scanner software. Your acquisition PC needs to be a dedicated Windows 11 machine.
How much space does the CS8200 need?
The CS8200 has a compact footprint. You need a minimum ceiling height of around 2,250mm and a rotation diameter of 1,342mm. The column adjusts from 1,062mm to 1,738mm height. We carry out a free room survey before installation to confirm everything is suitable — including electrical supply and network.
Can the CS8200 Access be upgraded to the Advance?
No — the Access and Advance are separate models and cannot be hardware-upgraded between them. However, the 10×10 cm FOV licence on the Access can be activated after purchase if not ordered at the time of sale. If you anticipate needing the larger FOV range, we'd recommend starting with the Advance.
What is CS UpStream and is it included?
CS UpStream is Carestream's remote monitoring service that proactively detects potential issues and maximises system uptime. It's available on all CS8200 models. Our 5-year service packages include full remote support alongside annual servicing and parts and labour cover.
Does the CS8200 do object scanning?
Yes — the CS8200 can scan patient impressions, dentures, plaster models, and radiographic guides. The object scanning platform is an optional accessory ordered separately. It's a useful addition for practices involved in implant planning and guided surgery workflows.
Do I need an RPA and a critical examination before using the machine?
Yes — UK regulations require you to have a Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) relationship in place, and a critical examination must be carried out before clinical use. We advise on both as part of our installation process and can recommend qualified RPAs. Our comprehensive service package includes RPA critical examination every 3 years.
